A Fun Day with my Scrap Buddies....

I had such a fab day yesterday,Libby and Rach came to my house for some scrapping,I think we talked for the first 1 1/2 hours, drinking coffee and eating cake but then we got scrapping. Rach was altering a cotton reel which was stunning when she'd finished,Libby and I were doing LO's. We both like using sketches and chose to use this week's sketch over at Sketchy Thursday.

 My LO:

I used December's Scrapagogo kit which is actually a Christmas kit but the papers work just as well with summer photo's,I added some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to the white cardstock.

The second sketch we used was from My Little Sketch Book.

I love using banners on cards and LO's at the moment so really enjoyed using this sketch, once again I used December's Scrapagogo kit and the banners are from Maya Road. Normally I would only use neutral coloured cardstock never anything this bright but Libby got me to use the turquoise and I have to say I really like it so maybe I might use colour a bit more often. Why not check out Libby's LO's using these sketches and how different they are to mine, even though we used the same sketch. Thanks girls for coming over,I have such a laugh when I'm with you both !!!!
It's Bromsgrove Crop on Saturday and I will be doing a card class and as it's February I thought I would do a Valentine card or it could be for a wedding anniversary. Here's a sneek peek:

Thanks for looking and leaving such lovely comments,it makes my day.

So jealous to get to play with the girls! I miss that! Lovely layouts and it's really interesting to see how you have used the Dec kit with these non Christmas layouts (that is what I liked about the kit) and your layouts are really very different to Lib's. Great job.

Your card looks lovely - feeling some serious crop envy....!

Both LO's are gorgeous and your second LO with the turqoise background and banner is my absolute favorite. So bright and happy and I can hardly wait until the new SB banner dies are available in Holland. They are stunning and I love the way you added this cutie on this LO. And your peek looks promising:)
Have a lovely evening!
