Hello everyone, last night while I was watching Glee,I was chatting to Libby on Facebook and she was about to do some scrapbooking and asked if I wanted to do this week's sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays at the same time,of course I said yes. We don't live locally to each other so this is our way of scrapping together, lol. When we have finished we take a photo of the finished LO and send it by email.
Here's this week's sketch:
The papers are Echo Park Little Girl Collection,I love the colours in this range. I painted the edges with white paint and then misted with TA Chalkboard in Mint Choc Chip, mmmm sounds good enough to eat. I don't know whether you can see the splatters in the top left hand corner but that was done with my new fave stamp from SU French Foliage set. I stamped it with Versa Magic Sea Breeze, the punched edge was made with EK Sucess punch and for the flower rosettes I used the Tim Holtz dies.
Thank you for all your ideas with papers and colours for Paige's prom photo's,you were all a great help,I have some of the paper ranges that were suggested so can get started.
I have my friends from card class coming around tonight for dinner so I'd better get preparing, thanks for looking and taking the time to leave such sweet comments,it's much appreciated. Also thanks to Candace on the heads up with Picnik photo editing,it is so much easier than Picassa.

wonderful layout. love what you did with the sketch and those TH flowers.. I do not have that paper line, but I love what you did with it. I may need to rethink it. =)
Very sweet layout Deb... I love the blooms too...nice!!...lovely photos as well... hugs...xoxo
So pretty Deb! Your sweetie is precious and I love all the little fan fold embellishments!
Gorgeous Deb ... I love the rosettes .. they really look so good ... and your daughter is lovely ... I liked the short hair .... One question ... why one week later and not one year?
The reason I put 'one week later' is the bottom photo was taken one week later from the top one. If you look she's still got the same spot on her nose, lol.x
Wowy, love your rosettes, they're perfect! And you found the right papers to match your daughter's outfit ;-) Love it Deb, Ira x
Your rosettes make me sigh :)...........
And the pictures of your daughter are gorgeous. You really nailed this LO and every piece of it gorgeous. I am not into scrapbooking but i can look at masterpieces like this for hours.....
Enjoy your evening!

I'm a big, big fan of the rosettes. Amazing page! :)
Right! I thought when you wrote ' ... 12mths later ... you've grown it back" meant the top photo was the newest ... silly me ...
No Ros it's me, I can see why you thought that, I didn't explain vey well.I need to rewrite my journaling, that's why I don't journal often, lol.xxxx
gorgeous. i love the idea of cyber scrapping - being such a sociophobe, perhaps that's the way to go for me!!!! Great layout and the rosettes are adorable. Paige is certainly a beautiful young lady, you must be so proud.
