Mollie Blanket Ta-Dah................

I've scheduled this post as I'm in Cornwall, the girls will be having their first surf lesson and hopefully the sun is shining.
My Mollie blanket is finished,it's not turned out as I planed due to a really silly error,I never checked my lot numbers, how stupid !!!!! I wanted a big blanket and bought 2 x 400g Aran wool, which looked the same until I actually started to sew them together,I accused my girls of spilling coca-cola on my new squares, oops,I did apologise. So with the one ball I made the squares and with the other one,I made a deep edge in double crochet. Also I only bought cheap wool and it wasn't that soft crocheted up so I decided to add a fleece lining.
Even though it's not what I envisaged,I do like it,it's very warm and snuggly and has come to Cornwall with me for the cooler evenings. Jodie has asked if she can take it back to Uni with her, mmmm,I'll have to think about it.They say you learn from your mistakes and I will go back to the Mollie Makes Starburst Flower Crochet Blanket and start another one that looks more like theirs.

Enjoy the rest of your week and I'll be back next week.
