One a Day......week 4

I now have 28 African Flower hexagons, I'm sewing them as I go, it doesn't look a lot different from last week, I'm loving how it's coming together though.

I've just finished the Swishy Scarf from the Cute & Easy Crochet book, I used Rooster Almerino DK and this will go to my sister as part of her Christmas present (she doesn't look at my blog so it will be a surprise). It feels lovely and soft to the touch,I hope she'll like it.

Thanks for looking and don't forget to enter my give-away HERE.

Hi Deb, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving the sweet comment. That's what brought me here. Wow just learning to crochet and taking on such a big project. It's beautiful. Love the scarf too. I've crocheted for years and only once took on a big project. A bed spread in fillet crochet...I never finished it but I used what I completed as a window valance. Thanks for joining my blog I appreciate the support. Be well Carole

The blanket is looking great but I LOVE the scarf! I have a pattern picked out that I like at Ravelry. Now I just need to figure out colors and buy the yarn...

I told you before Deb, but your blanket is going to be something really really special. Those coloured flowers in the centre stand out so fabulously against the white, also adore your scarf, how did you make this?? It's awesome! Love those frills! Ira x

That is a beautiful scarf you make for your sister, you are lucky that your sister doesn't come "here", my sister "stalk" me all the time, she once told me that I should not show the layout with her photo without her permission, LOL!

I just love your african flowers. I've tried these but I wonder if I went too garish with the colours. I'm going to have another go with softer tones.

Funnily enough, I've been thinking about that scarf lately as I'm hoping to crochet one or two for Christmas presents, but I can't find the book anywhere, grrrr! *Fingers crossed* it'll turn up soon though and I didn't lose it on holiday, lol!

Your African flowers look amazing! They are just what I needed to see, as I've just bought wool to start one myself but was feeling a little unsure. Now I am completely motivated! Thank you.
