56 Days Until Christmas....

We all love Christmas in our house and enjoy all the build up to it, which in the U.K. starts in October. I have started my Christmas shopping and have even made some handmade gifts. Yesterday we went to Webbs of Wychbold to look at their Christmas department, they always have wonderful displays but I think this year they have excelled themselves. Here's a few photo's using my retro Barbl camera on my phone.

 Winter Wonderland

A Sign For All Those Naughty Children !!!

 Baby's First Christmas.

Good Enough to Eat.

 Who's That Girl ?

 1930's Glamour

 Baby it's Cold Outside.

How cool is this body warmer, it's Paigey Polar Bear, she wasn't too impressed when I made her stand in the store with it on so I could take her photo, lol. They also had a t-shirt with two snowmen with button eyes and carrot noses on the front and one was saying to the other " can you smell carrots", I'm still roaring with laughter everytime I think of it.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I hope I haven't made too many people go "oh no not Christmas, already", hehe.

Love your pictures Deb, and yes, they did an absolutely amazing job decorating the store! Even if you're not buying anything, it's good fun just looking! Have a great Sunday, Ira x

What a lovely post, I'm quietly excited about Christmas myself now! "Can you smell carrots?" That's priceless, I'll be smiling about that one all day!

That body warmer had me laugh out loud! Your daughter is such a good sport!

I'm totally jealous that you got to go to Webbs - that takes me back to the first Christmas that R&I were together and we went there and splashed out on all new decorations. They really are the best around and the displays are always so spectacular. Your photos are great (love the 1930s glamour one of course) and have put Barbl on my iPhone list - love the retro look.

In my house, Christmas starts on November 1st, although of course, I've been making cards all year. There's not many presents to get/make but I'll be trying to get ahead on my decs earlier than last year. Love this time of year :-)
