Hi, I'm back today with my One a Day's, I've been doing a fair bit of knitting lately and missed doing crochet so this week I've concentrated on my Springtime Throw.
I love making these little squares, they crochet up so quick and with my little production line I can soon get a few made.
I've finished 36 square this week so I've got a total of 396 all together, the pattern says you need 420 but I don't think it will be wide enough and I've got loads of wool left so I'll be carrying on until I've used it all up..
Check out everyone else's progress over at Carole's blog.
I've also done 4 rows of my Wonder Blanket.
I've used the yarn left over from my niece's ballerina wrap, I bought the wool from Porthmadog when I went away with my friends. Evelyn who started The Wonder Blanket on Ravelry, commented about when using your left over wool, it will remind you of certain times and what project you used it on so this bit will always remind me of my fun few days with the girlies.
Talking about the ballerina wrap here it is with my niece wearing it.
She's such a little cutie !!!!
One last thing, I wanted to show you my new yarn that I received from the The Natural Dye Studio Yarn Club. This is July's YOTM, a merino/tencel mix lace called Koroibos in commemoration of the Olympics. Koroibos was the winner of the stadion race in the first Ancient Olympics.
Have a good week, I'll be back tomorrow with a new sew tutu that my daughter Paige made for the little girls in our family.

I love seeing your pretty squares stacked up like that. Your niece is so beautiful and funny. Her wrap is awesome. That reminds me I need to make my daughters some as their ballet leotards are sleeveless. Very cool yarn!
That Springtime Throw is going to be so pretty. I can't wait to see it.

She looks so sweet in this ... beautiful job Deb!
I see it was not your daughter but your niece. :-)
Love that yarn! I just want to reach out through the laptop and touch it. It looks so soft.
I was just showing a quilting friend the book where the springtime throw is in as it was to be my next project. I decided I needed to make the autumn granny throw first though since autumn is fastly approaching. I cannot wait to start mine though seeing yours. It is just beautiful. Those squares look like they are going to be fun to make. Are you enjoying it?
Hugs from Holland ~

Oh I love your knitted stripes!! Are you knitting or purling the row to get the garter stitch?
Production lines are a great idea, I seemed to get my hexies finished much faster that way :)
Your little girl is very cute & I love the wrap she's wearing :D
Hi Deb!
Ooo it is so pretty isn't it? I think I will carry on with it eventually but for now I will put it away till next year.
I love the wool you've used. Is it the same as the ones recommended in the book?
