WIP Wednesday.......my sweater has sleeves.
Good morning, a very quick post on my knitting progress this week.
My Livingston Baby Sweater has got sleeves!!!! I love seamless knits, it was quite fiddly to knit the sleeves onto the body but after a couple of rows, it was fine. The best part is I don't have to sew all the pieces together!!!!
I've also turned the heel on my second Pennycress sock, I'm still reading "Take a Look at me Now" by Miranda Dickinson.
I'm linking up to Ginny's Yarn Along and WIP Wednesday over at Tami's blog.
Thanks for stopping by, I'm sorry it's short and sweet today, my sister has just tried to bake a vegan cake for my nieces 18th birthday which is today and it's turned out a disaster so now I've got to have a go at baking one. I'm not sure if mine will turn out any better but I'll give it a go.

Good luck with the cake x
Looks AWESOME!! Good luck with the cake!!!
Wishing you the best with the cake - sounds like a big challenge! Love the way the little jumper is coming along, how good it must be to avoid sewing all those pieces together! Hugs, Joy x
I love the colours you're working with at the moment, Deb. And that sweater is beautiful!
Good luck with the cake! I had that very copy of Aesop's fables so your post has made me feel nostalgic. Gorgeous knitting too :) x
lovely sweater :) I love seamless knits too, it would have to be a super-amazing pattern for me to pick one which involved sewing lol
Woo-hoo for sleeves! Very necessary this cold & crispy day :-)
Good luck with the cake,
xx
what a gorgeous baby sweater! such great projects on your needles!!!
Love the colours of that sweater ... good luck with the cake!
Do share that vegan cake recipe. I'm curious about what it looks like and what it tastes like.
Oh my gravy, love that little sweater from it's color to its stitch pattern. I have yet to try bottom up. Any tips on attaching the sleeves?
What a cute sweater. The texture kind of reminds me of dragon scales.
Socks and sweater are looking amazing!

I just love that sweater! It looks great.
If your baking is anything like your knitting then the cake will be amazing! :-) let us know how it turns out - and how one makes a vegan cake without the likes of eggs and oils! Chrissie x
Very nice! I'm in envy of anyone who knits. I look forward to hearing all about the cake. :)
Wonderful knitting, that sweater looks so soft.
Best of luck with the birthday cake.
I love that sweater with the gentle texture to it. I love seamless knitting for that exact reason too! I love to sew, and embroider, but for some reason I hate sewing up knitted garments. I feel like it's redundant!
I love the pattern on the baby sweater. Good luck with the cake.
I love that pistachio colour. your knitting look so even. Hope you are keeping well. Jo x
yay for sleeve additions and for sock knitting! I'm starting on the sleeves of my sweater and I've decided to not knit in the round just to see if I like to knit that way. there will be a seam :/
Both are wonderful
Love the sweater! Seamless knits are my favorite. :)
Great knitting, good luck on the cake! xx
love the pattern on that little sweater! (i'd like it on a sweater for ME!!!) :)
do tell how the cake turned out....vegan...no eggs, no milk (buttermilk)...my blueberry gingerbread today never could have stood the vegan test.
