Scrapbookers Anonymous January Challenge.........

Happy New Year !!!!! Today is the first challenge of 2012 over at Scrapbookers Anonymous and we are asking you to use paint, inks, mists and masking. I decided to do a She Art canvas, my friend's daughter was 21 last month, she is an art student and I thought she'd like this, the sentiment says 'Create from the Heart', her Mom said she loved it and is now up on her bedroom wall at Uni.

I covered the canvas in old book pages and dressmaking patterns, when dry I did some random stamping and created the She Girl then it was onto the fun, messy bit with paints, mists and stencil paste. I used the stencil paste with the brick and dotty masks to give some dimension and added some rub-ons over her dress. The stamped flowers were coloured in using Faber Castell paint pens.
Check out what the other designers have come up with over at Scrapbookers Anonymous and this month's great prize for one lucky person.
I'm in Spain at the moment, celebrating the New Year and here's wishing you all a very Happy, Healthy New Year. Back soon !!!!!!

Happy Crafting

I love your scrapbooking work! Do you buy from a craft store, your suppolies, or from a website? I know you've mentioned one stamp site a few times. Is there a really good card-making book you know of that you can rec?
