The Shabby Tea Room Week #21

Well, all the cases are packed, all the washing and housework is done so I'm all ready for the off in the morning. We're going to Gozo for two and half weeks for our summer holiday and really looking forward to some sun,sea and sand.
When I saw this week's challenge at The Shabby Tea Room I really wanted to take part so I got everything done this morning so I could craft one last time before I go.The challenge is called 'House and Home' and to use soft blues, white, cream and browns and/or with a house.I bought a Maya Road chipboard house a few weeks ago so I decided to decorate that for the challenge.

The blue paper was Websters Pages and the brown was Basic Grey Capella,I used a Martha Stewart punch for the fence.I made some little spiral roses for the side of the house and the little wooden heart with the saying 'Sunshine always follows the rain' was one of my purchases when I went to Bridgenorth the other day.

Enjoy the summer holidays and I will be back in about three weeks.

This is fabulous in every way! I love the lace trim for the gingerbread detail you would see on a vicitorian house. The papes are gorgeous! Have a great trip!

I love the unusually tall proportions of your house balanced by the little picket fence. Believe the roof is a Basic Grey Capella, are the walls Websters' Pages ?
