Anyway, first things first I have finished my AF hexagon blanket which I have kept small but is the perfect size for a pushchair blanket for my little niece.
Here's the cheeky little monkey wearing a crocheted wrap cardi I made for her she just wouldn't keep still while I took the photos, I just love this baby girl to bits. You can find the pattern in the book Crochet in No Time by Melody Griffiths.
I've seen so many ripple blankets on differnt blogs and just love them so I have started one of my own using Lucy's pattern, she makes it so easy to follow, I love to pop over to her blog, Attic24, to see what other wonderful projects she's doing.
I decided to use Debbie Bliss cashmerino dk for my blanket, it is so soft and luxurious with some fabulous colours to choose from. I made a conscious decision not to have any pink in this blanket, for some reason I always go for pinks even though it isn't my favourite colour !!!!
I'm doing two rows of each colour and trying to get two rows done every night, I'm loving doing it and will definitely be doing another one in different colours.
As it grows, it is keeping me nice and warm as I crochet it on these cold winter nights, what a bonus. Thanks for taking the time to look, enjoy your day.

I have been so sorry to read of the terrible things that have been going on.
Your blankets and cardigan are beautiful. I love the colours you use, I know what you mean about pink, it seems to sneak in everywhere.
I hope your Brother is doing better! :):):)

So pretty. All of it. That book is lovely isn't it. Those cardigans I am working on are inspired by the blue denim coat in it. I have had to change some of it to suit the kiddos I am making them for. I have made 6 of them so far. Love the book. I love that cardi on that baby. Really nice job. Talk to you soon.
Your niece is such a cutey! I hope she makes you smile often during this difficult time :). Love how the hexagon blanet turned out and that zig zag throw does look so warm and cozy!!!

That ripple looks wonderful, the pastel shades you have picked are lovely and look great together. I imagine it must be so soft and cozy. xx
What is the prettiest, the little blanket, the baby girl, her cradi, the wall behind her!, or the new ripple? All of them Love your colour choices on all, almost chalky as opposed to lots of the sugary colours so popular.
Glad to see life returning to normal for you. Your niece is completely adorable, just like that cardi! Love the photo of all the Debbie Bliss yarn and the lovely afghan. I've been knitting in earnest these days, and have plans to tackle my first sweater in January.
