Inspired by Stamping Blog Hop...Day 2.

Hi, how is everybody today? I'm back with Day 2 of Inspired by Stamping sneak peeks and more projects that I've created using the new stamp sets and flowers.
My first project is a little Easter basket with the Easter stamp set,I haven't filled it yet as if I buy the chocolate eggs now, I'd eat them before Easter !!!!

The basket was made by cutting four Sizzix Scallop Envelope dies in kraft card and four in paper to line the inside, gluing together to form a basket.I dry painted the kraft to give a shabby look and made the handle by punching along a strip of kraft and adding some lace. I stamped the frame with SU Bashful Blue, adding a couple of the new  flowers.

Supplies
Stamps- Easter 6 X 4
Dies- Spellbinders Label 4, Sizzix Scalloped Envelope die
Flowers- Blue Tone Roses, Light Yellow Roses
Paper- Stampin Up
Punch- SU Scalloped Punch

My second project is a card using the Cherish stamp set.

I layered the papers and zig zag stitched along the front. I then diecut two different sizes of the Nestabilities Labels 17 and stamped onto the smaller one using the silhouette tree and sentiment.

Supplies
Stamps- Cherish
Paper- Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime
Dies- Spellbinders Label 17
Flowers- Mixed Colours Flowers,
Punch- Martha Stewart

This card is using the Small Fancy Labels 4 and one of the red flowers available from Saturday, I really do love stamps that work with the Spellbinder Nestibilities, it makes things so much easier.

Supplies
Stamps- Small Fancy Labels 4
Papers- Melissa Frances 5th Avenue
Dies- Spellbinders Label 4
Flowers-Red with dark leaves
Other- SU punch, Grey seam binding

The last card is a Christmas card using the Easter Blessings set, you don't have to use these stamps just for Easter, the Rejoice can be used for Christmas, the cross could be used for Christenings, Baptisms, Confirmations even wedding invitations.

I stamped the Rejoice in Versamark and heat embossed with red embossing powder adding some satin ribbon.

Supplies
Stamps- Easter Blessings
Papers- Cosmo Cricket
Dies- Sizzix Tim Holtz Festive Greenery
Pretties- bling, satin ribbon

I hope you are all enjoying the sneak peeks, please check out what the rest of the DT have done for more inspiration. Also, there is some more BLOG CANDY to give away today, take a look here for a chance to win.

In answer to Lea's question, I store my Nestabilities on magnetic sheets then in a plastic pocket which I keep in a ring binder. I find this so much better and have them all to hand in one place.xxx
