Ripple Blanket Tah-Dah.....
Yeeesssss, I've finished my ripple blanket after 5 months and 39 balls of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK, you can see the colours I've used here. It was never going to be a short term project but it was well worth the time it took, I just love it. I've crocheted smaller blankets but this is my first large project measuring 47" X 90", I can't get over how heavy it is. I started with a chain of 222 and have crocheted 220 rows, using Attic 24 Neat Ripple Pattern, Lucy has written a great tutorial which is very easy to follow.
It is so warm and snugly, Paige and I love to lie under it whilst we watch the T.V.in the evening, in fact, I've got it over me now as I'm writing this post. In a way I'm quite sad I've finished it as I found it very therapeutic with the continuous flow of the pattern, so I have decided to make another one when I have finished other projects.
Thanks for looking.
Night, Night

It's gorgeous! I love it - I have plans to do a ripple blanket soon xx
love your ripple blanket, fab colours, how many chains is that? my is 220 and not as large
Oh Deb it's absolutely amazing! You must be so very proud of yourself. I love the colours, I love the size and I admire your patience! It's a lovely rhythmic pattern isn't it - although in saying that I still managed to lose concentration and muck up a few rows. Thank goodness crochet is easy to undo and redo!
Have a fabulous weekend! Enjoy your TV viewing under your delicious snuggly blanket!
