A Crafty Afternoon!

While I was out shopping last weekend I bumped into Kerry a crafting friend, she asked if I knew a Stampin'Up demonstator.I must have forgotten to tell her that I was a demonstrator so when I told her she was thrilled as she'd been looking for somebody local for quite a while.
We arranged to meet at my house the following Friday so Kerry could have a look at some of the Stampin'Up stash that I've got.We did a bit of crafting and a lot of talking. Here's the card that we did with the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and the butterfly punch which works perfectly with the stamp set:

Here are a few more cards made with Stampin'Up products:

Pocket Silhouettes stamp set, latte designer buttons, tall tales papers and hodgepodge hardware.

Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set

On a Pedestal stamp set and To the Nines specialty paper.

.Lastly here are a couple of baby cards that I've had to make recently.

I'm off to bed now, just finished watching Silent Witness, it scared me this week. When we watched part 1  last night Paige jumped onto my lap at one point.

Night,night!

A reason to stop in my craft room!

I'm having my kitchen decorated this week so I've got a good excuse not to do housework and can spend lots of time in my craft room ( as if I need an excuse).
I've had to take Paige my youngest daughter to get her vaccinations done today as she's going to China with the school at Easter. She wasn't too happy about having 3 injections in one go but it will be well worth it.What a chance of a life time, I wanted to ask her teacher if they wanted any parent helpers but Paige wasn't to keen on the idea!

I'm getting behind on my Scrapagogo kits so thought I'd better start catching up a bit.I managed to get a few LO's done with the November kit last week,I used most of it up and will use the leftovers to make some cards. Here are some of my LO's:

Hope to be back tomorrow with some cards that I have done.

My very first blog!

Well this is my very first post on my blog.I'm not sure what I'm really doing but I'm sure I'll learn as I go along.Libby & Rach have encouraged me to have a go at bloging so here goes:

I've just got back from a card workshop at Sunrise Crafts,Wombourne ( I go every Monday night).I don't know how Banu manages to get it finished with all our talking and laughing that goes on.We do get it done though but I think it takes us a lot longer than her other groups to get it finished. They are a great bunch of girls and we have become very good friends,I look forward to my Monday night out. Here's the card we did this week:

Banu used a Cuttlebug embossing folder on some brown Core'dinations and then we distressed (love distressing). The lighter colour flowers are white Prima flowers which have been sprayed using Cosmic shimmer mists. The colour we used was ancient copper I think you'll agree they've turned out really well.I shall be using my Cosmic shimmers a lot you can alter white flowers to any colour you need.I added some Prima crystals which I also love(I'll be saying that a lot as I love a lot of things).
Well that's my very first post! Thanks for stopping by and hope you return.
