Card Patterns Sketch #84

I don't normally do two posts in a day but I really wanted to do this sketch from CardPatterns and it closes in a few hours. I love the simplicity of it but there is so much you could do with it.

I got my new goodies from Stampin' Up today so of course I wanted to use them straight away, everything on this card is from SU.

I love to layer stamped images which is what I've done here.I stamped the frame in Chocolate Chip and stamped onto some scrap paper to take some of the ink off then stamped onto the card, giving a much lighter colour. I then stamped the Christmas image in the same ink straight onto the frame giving a much deeper colour.

Supplies
Cardstock- Chocolate Chip,Red Riding Hood
Paper- Love Letters
Stamps- Notably Ornate,Welcome Christmas
Other- Very Vanilla satin ribbon,button,rhinestone

lovely card Deb. Pretty stamps. You must be well on your way to having all your Christmas cards finished already! Maybe I will have a go at a few after LOAD.

What a fabulous idea; the ink is lighter but still has a full and rich color. The card looks a bit nostalgic but also elegant. I love it. Your stamps are gorgeous;where did you buy them?

Sorry for the late comment. I'm kind of behind on the blogging. Love this card! You are the queen of stamping
