It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year !

I'm sorry I haven't been about much,I just haven't had time for any crafting so have had nothing to show you. It's such a busy time of the year but I love it,I'm sat writing this in my warm, cosy house, drinking coffee and watching the snow flutter down,to me this is bliss!
We put our Christmas Tree up on Sunday and even though my girls have grown up they still get just as excited and can't wait for the last weekend of November, when all the decorations go up.

This little bird decoration is my most treasured,my Gran bought it for me one Christmas when we took her out for the day. She's no longer with us but every year it comes out and I think of all the wonderful times we shared.
Today is the 1st December so we've all opened our advent calenders this morning and eaten a yummy Thorntons chocolate before breakfast.

I really need to get cracking and make some Christmas cards today, will be back soon.

Your tree is gorgeous; I love that ornament of your grandmother. Each year you put it in the tree it gives you the time to reflect and think about the wonderful times you shared with her. This ornament is such a lovely tribute to her. Gorgeous tree Deb; it didnt surprise me because all your projects are gorgeous. So this tree is no exception and i love to look at the pictures!

Your tree looks so pretty. It makes me want to sing "it's begining to look a lot like Christmas". Thank goodness your really can't hear me sing.. My singing voice is pretty sad.

I love the little bird in the nest. Again your tree is just beautiful...

oo, pink decorations! Snap! My tree is being delivered on Saturday and I can't wait to get all that pink stuff of mine up and running. The Germans think I am mad as most of them don't put up their trees till Christmas Eve (!!!) can you believe it? Far too late and this way, we all get to enjoy the tree the whole month! Love your tree, looks so delicate -the feather tinsel is gorgeous and your treasured bird decoration is very lovely. Mmmm Thorntons (insert envious sound here)!
