Bloomin' Crochet-A-Long.........Week 3

I'm back today with an update on my Hexagon blanket, it's week 3 of Chrissie Crafts and Ladybird DiariesBloomin' Crochet-A-Long.

I've made seven hexagons, this week, I will get there slowly but surely, It's a pattern from Attic24 which you can find here. I want to finish at least one a day and thanks to this great Crochet-A-Long, I'm back into my crochet as I have a few WIP's I need to finish.

I'm also on a mission to finish my Springtime Throw by Nicki Trench, the pattern is from the Cute and Crochet book, I started this, back in August 2011, it took me just over a year to make 780 tiny squares and join them together lengthways. I need to join them across the other way now and crochet a border. I will hopefully have it finished before the start of the Winter.

Check out Chrissie's and Marrianne's blog for my beautiful crochet projects.

Thanks for stopping by, I really do appreciate it and thank you to all the lovely ladies who have been leaving me some kind and wonderful comments, lately. I do try and reply via your blogs but some of the comments left take me to Google+ so I can't find you, so sorry if I don't reply to some of you.

Deb, your blossoms are beautiful! And I'm in awe of all those dinky squares, that is no mean feat! I swear, if I ever manage a gorgeous blanket like that, I'll demand to be buried with it! ;-) Chrissie x

Your piles are growing at great speed. I am impressed you can finish one a day. I have been studying that second throw in the book for awhile now - yours looks really great!

The hexies and your tiny square blanket are looking great Deb. I think I would have trouble if I had made such a wonderful blanket as the little square one though as I wouldn't want to use it, just sit and look at it! xx

Lovely, lovely hexes Deb, and your throw is coming along a treat - soon be finished now. It takes a lot of time and patience to complete all those titchy wee little flowers but obviously so worth the effort you've put in; well done!

Your hexies are looking beautiful and I love those squares....although its crazy how something can take so long!!

I was going to join in on the Bloomin' CAL but decided I have enough projects just now and I can't afford to pick up cream yarn which I would really like for doing the CAL....I may end up joining in at a very later date, as there is a project that I wanted to do for the CAL :)

Both blankets are looking great. I started my spring time throw about 6 months after you did and I'm still crocheting squares. One day I will finish a blanket. Off to go and see the CAL as I missed One A Day as motivation to get on and crochet.

Hope you are keeping well x

HI found your blog through Chrissie Crafts. I live in Shropshire so not far away from you. Your crochet is beautiful. I made a little blanket from the Attic 24 blog and it was really successful. Jo x
