Scrapbookers Anonymous May Challenge......

Another month over and another new challenge over at Scrapbookers Anonymous but first congratulations to April's Scrap Addict of the Month,Nicole. There are a few changes going on over at Scrapbookers Anonymous challenge blog, the first been some new Design Team members so I would like to give them a big ,warm welcome, when you get a minute take a look at these talented crafters blogs. Check out my side bar and you can get to all of the DT's blogs by clicking their name.

Also every month we are challenging you to make a card using the scraps from your LO and the item we're challenging you to use so this month is a stamped image,it's a great way to use up all those leftover bits. The DT will post their cards mid-month so look out for that. As well as random generated winner we will be also picking our favourite card or LO of the month. This month's prize are some Tim Holtz Distress papers and you have until 9pm EST 31st May.
Now on to this month's challenge, get those stamps out and stamp at least one piece of cardstock to make a patterned paper and at least three stamped embellishments. I love this month's challenge, stamping is one of my favourite things, I have made my own backgrounds for cards before but never on a LO so this was a new challenge for me.

I stamped around the edge of 12x12 white cardstock with Stampin'Up Baby Blossoms in various coloured inks to make my patterned paper.  I stamped the banner from SU Party This Way stamp set, I stamped onto plain card and cut out around the scallop edge then stamped again onto patterned paper, cut the centre triangle out and attached to the centre of the scalloped banner. I used SU Flight of the Butterfly set for the butterfly and the bird was from SU Punch Potpourri.. I used some old papers from my stash which I actually still like by Anna Griffin, Girls Paperie and Daisy Bucket. I then added lots of Prima flowers and a piece of lace.
Hope you can join us this month at Scrapbookers Anonymous, head on over there and check out what the rest of the DT have created using their stamps.
