IBSIC #12.......A Sketch.

Hi there, I'm back with a challenge from Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge and this week Joanna has designed this gorgeous sketch for us.

Here's my card.

I was inspired to make this flower using old dressmaking patterns after seeing one similar on LilyBean's Paperie blog. The dressmaking pattern sheets are great for making flowers as it scrunches up nicely, giving that  gorgeous shabby chic look, I layered them with some grey felt, cut into a circle and some punched out flowers, then adhering it to a kraft doily.
I added a ticket and a scrap of lace, stamping the Happy Birthday underneath the flower, I also stamped a little crown onto the ticket from the Birthday Wishes but it's not very visible on the photo.  I punched a scallop border onto some text paper and last but not least added the grey gingham bow. I fell in love with this ribbon when I saw it, you don't often see pretty, grey ribbon like this.

Supplies
Stamps- Birthday Wishes.
Papers- The Girl's Paperie, Crate Paper.
Pretties- hand made flower, Maya Road Kraft Doily, lace, ticket, gingham ribbon, buttons, twine.

I hope you'll join this week, we'd love to see your creations. I'll be back tomorrow with all the new Inspired by Stamping June releases.

Happy Crafting
