FO Friday..............Pipers Journey

Good morning, my lovely friends. I'm back today, to show you my finished Pipers Journey Shawl by Paula Emons-Fueslle. Once I got started on the border on Monday evening, it didn't take long to finish, I did manage to get quite a lot done when I went to my friend's house on Wednesday for a crafty evening.

I love this pattern, the border is so pretty, it looks a bit like cable at the minute but is actually lace.I have officially finished knitting it but I do still have to block it, which will show off the beautiful lace edge.

I decided to show you before I blocked it as I wanted to wear it over the weekend, I'm off to Burgh Island Hotel, which my husband treated us to, for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I'll be wearing it like the above photo, wrapped around my neck like a scarf, so doesn't look too bad unblocked.
However, I will block it when I get home and take some photo's of it, next week.

Check out other FO's, this week, over at Tami's blog.

Don't forget, you still have time to enter my giveaway, to win a copy of Pau Hana by Mel Ski's Knits, you have until Monday 7th October, 7pm BST, just leave me a comment on this blog post.

Have a great weekend.

The knitting is gorgeous, can't wait to see it blocked!

Also, incredibly jealous that you're going to Burgh Island! I grew up in the South Hams, and I recommend that you go to the Friday night curry at the Pilchard Inn because it's the best meal out I've ever had. Enjoy yourself <3
