Hello there, did you all have a good weekend ? I've just spent a lovely, relaxing week in Spain, just enjoying the sunshine.
It's back to reality now though and I'm back today with my Tuesday's Tallies, I haven't done much as I didn't take anything with me on my holidays but I did knit a little pair of Strawberry Baby Shoes on Monday evening.
Aren't they sweet ? I got the pattern from a book called Cutest Ever Baby Knits by Val Pierce. I'm hoping I get a bit more time this week to carry on with some of my WIP's. You can check out how everyone else has got on over at Gingerbread Girl's blog.
Thanks for looking, have a good week.

Inspired by Stamping Colour Challenge..........blue, silver and gold.
Hello, I'm back with this week's challenge from Inspired by Stamping, this week we are asking you to use the colours, blue, silver and gold.
Here's this week's stunning inspiration photo.
Such gorgeous Christmas colours, here's my card.
I've used the new Vintage Postcards Add-On 1, which works with the Vintage Postcards stamp set, I also used some of the new Gold Glitter Tape. I matted the postcard onto some silver glitter card and stamped some postmarks. I used foam pads to mount the stamp giving it a bit of dimension.
I learnt a great trick at the retreat, to get the perforated edge around the stamp, punch holes along the edge and trim down to make a semi-circle.
Here's a photo which makes it a bit clearer.
Supplies
Stamps- IBS Vintage Postcards, Vintage Postcard Add-Ons 1.
Papers- Authentique.
Pretties- Doily, IBS Gold Glitter Tape, silver stars.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you'll join us, we love looking at your wonderful creations. Have a great weekend.

Fun in the Sun.......
Hello there, I'm quickly writing this sat by the pool, I'm in Benidorm, Spain getting some much needed sunshine.
The wifi is very hit and miss so I'll visit all your blogs when I get home, nothing crafty from me today, just my holiday snaps.
Benidorm seems to have a bad reputation but most parts are very nice with very clean beaches, great shopping and beautiful buildings in the Old Town.I haven't seen one Hen or Stag do, yet.
We've enjoyed the Spanish food and drink.
And the lively nightlife.
That's it from me, today, I'll be back tomorrow with a scheduled post for the this week's Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge.
Thanks for looking, sorry about the layout of this post, Blog Press is very limited.

Creative Heart and Soul Retreat...........with Glitz Designs, Fancy Pants and Authentique.
Hello my friends, I'm back today to share my weekend at the Creative Heart and Soul Retreat, it was amazing and so much fun !!!!!
Rach and I arrived at Antsy Hall on Friday afternoon where we met up with Helen and Sarah, who also go to Bromsgrove crop. We literately dropped our bags in the hotel room and went down to register, meeting Debbie and Tracie, who organised this amazing event. It was non-stop from then on!!!!
This is the beautiful hotel we stayed at, in Coventry.
When we registered, we had the option of buying a challenge kit, which was donated by American Crafts, all the money went to charity and whoever entered won a prize, first prize been a free place for the next retreat, sadly I didn't win that prize..
This is what was on the table when I sat down, isn't it sweet ?
After a welcome talk and a natter with everyone,( it was lovely to catch up with Jackie, who I haven't seen for a long time), we then went for dinner.
The four of us sat with the other two ladies from our table and the Glitz Girls, Laura and Erin. Oh my gosh, did we do some laughing, I love these two girls, they were so much fun and had such a great energy.
After dinner we got to work on our challenge kit, here's my LO.
Saturday morning, we were down for a lovely breakfast by 8.30am, ready for our first class at 9.30am. We had three mini book classes today, the first one was Festive 25 which was a countdown to Christmas using Authentique Festive collection, taught by Tracie Hudson.
I love this mini album, it's all ready to add photo's each day of December to the run up to Christmas.
Next class was Yours Truly mini album, taught by Erin and Laura, two thirds of the Glitz Design girls, I absolutely love Glitz products, especially the new Giant Rhinestones.
A quick lunch, then it was time for Fancy Pants, My Life Mini Book, taught by the sweet Jodi, owner of Fancy Pants.
I love taking photo's and putting them on Instagram, it is becoming a photo diary of my everyday life so I decided to use the photo's for this mini book. The base of the book is made by using Fancy Pants 6 X 4 Journaling Cards, the papers and embellishments are The Good Life collection.
After dinner was "Party Night" with Make and Takes, raffle prizes and a quiz, we also got to carry on with any unfinished projects.
Here are a couple of the Make and Takes I did.
Sunday morning was just delightful, it was a crisp, cold Autumn morning, the sun was shining and I was in the most wonderful setting.I walked over to breakfast and was welcomed by this huge, open fire, just perfect !!!
After breakfast, it was back to the classroom for three LO classes, the first one was Fancy Pants using the Hopscotch collection. It isn't quite finished so when I've completed the second page I will show you the completed project.
Next up was Authentique using the Curiosity collection, I didn't do this one in class as I didn't have any suitable photo's but I've got the kit to complete at home.
Last but not least was a LO class with the Glitz Girls using the Cashmere Dame collection, I love this collection, it's all very 50's style retro.
This is another LO, that I need to finish, so will show you the full double page at a later date. It was then time for a group photo and time for our goodbyes, sob*sob*. I took a couple of photo's while the photographer was getting ready for us.
This is a photo of the talented teachers and the organiser, Debbie, who did a fantastic job and made my weekend, one I'll remember for a long time.
This photo just makes me laugh everytime I look at it, Helen doesn't like having her photo taken and even went incognito for the group photo, wearing her sunglasses. I caught her though trying to hide behind Rach, hehe.
Thank you for letting me share my weekend with you, sorry it's such a long post but it really was a crammed, fun packed weekend, I can't wait for the next event !!!!

Tuesday's Tallies.......Ladies Lace Crochet Socks.
Hi there, I hope you all had a good weekend, I had such a fun time at the Creative Heart and Soul Retreat, I'll tell you all about it, tomorrow.
I've been busy over the last couple of weeks, with one thing and another so haven't had much time for crocheting my bigger WIP's but I have tried to do a bit every day on my lace socks for my One a Day.
I saw the socks on somebody's FB page and thought they looked gorgeous, I found the pattern on Etsy and bought it as a download, you can find it here.
I'm on my first sock, I've finished the foot and have just started the lace pattern, it's an easy pattern to follow, with instructions on how to alter the size. I'm using my September's YOTM from The Natural Dye Studio which is a blend of 85% silk and 15% camel.
I think they are going to look fab with my boots with just a peek of the lace showing, if you don't want slouch socks, you can add some fine elastic to the top of the socks.
Check out how everyone else has got on this week with their projects, over at Carole's blog.
Thanks for looking and have a good week.

Tuesday's Tallies......crochet baby shoes.
Hi, I hope you all had a good weekend, I haven't managed to do much this week so my Tuesday's Tallies post, will be short and sweet.
I still haven't made a decision on my Bobble Blanket but the majority of people think I should carry on and buy the wool a little bit at a time.I'll make a decision when I get back from my holiday, later this month.
I have made some crochet baby shoes with some leftover yarn that I'd got, the pattern was from the Jenny Watson Baby Boutique Book 2.
I've also started some crochet lace socks using the yarn from last month's YOTM that I get from the Natural Dye Studio, it's 85% silk/15% baby camel and is so soft and luxurious.
I will show more of them next week, I haven't made much progress so not much to show, if you go over to Carole's blog, you can check out how everybody else has got on this week.
Thanks for stopping by.
